Adulting is Ghetto - Virtual Women’s Support Group

THE WHY:

Few things are sweeter than having someone that actually listens to you with pure intentions and growth in mind.

As you transition into another phase of your womanhood, you may face some challenging times. Often, we believe we must do it all alone…but it takes a village. it is SO important to have a place in which one can be safely vulnerable and receive genuine support in return.

This is where R.E.A.L. Sisters comes in.

THE HOW:

R.E.A.L. Sisters is a weekly support group that gives young adult women ages 21-35 years young a safe place to flourish.

With the guidance of a facilitator, sisters can grow through discussion and discovery as the group works through a new topic every week.

Feel free to join us any time you want!

YOU DESERVE A SISTERHOOD WHO WILL LAUGH WITH YOU, CRY WITH YOU, AND SEE THE REAL YOU.

Everyone sees you as a strong, responsible Black woman, the go-to woman. On the outside things look calm, but internally, you feel like you’re drowning.

You’ve been misunderstood, judged and you’ve had to fight to get to where you are. You’ve experienced toxic work environments and microaggressions.

You know you CAN’T give up.

YOU DESERVE TO BE VALUED AND HEARD.

You struggle to open up to your friends because they don’t always understand. But you want and need support.

R.E.A.L Sisters is a virtual support group created by a Black, immigrant therapist.

Because black women need support too!

You want a place where you can talk about the struggles of being a woman of color, you want to learn how to manage your feelings and find genuine understanding. You want to be a part of a sisterhood of women who will get you- so you can thrive.

You don’t have to explain anything. You can just be. Prepare to finally be seen.

“When sisters stand shoulder to shoulder, who stands a chance against us?”
